The Senior Retirement Project, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, offers a community-based approach in serving the emotional and adjustment needs of seniors and elders by providing on-site mental health counseling, emotional support, and conflict resolution.

Supporting the social, emotional, and psychological well-being of seniors is an integral part in caring for the "Greatest Generation" (Brokaw,1998), the "Silent Generation", and yes, even our aging Baby Boomers. We are committed to provide professional excellence in the most affordable way to seniors residing in retirement communities, assisted-living communities, adult family homes, private residences, as well as serving seniors who access community centers for their psychosocial needs.

Individual client services include:

  • In-home mental health and or adjustment counseling
  • Conflict resolution

  • Counseling support for spouses

  • Family caregiver counseling

  • On-site mental health counseling at community and senior centers

Retirement Community, Assisted-Living, and Adult Family Home services include:

  • Resident counseling and conflict resolution

  • Family member counseling

  • Staff in-service trainings

  • Staff counseling (related to resident issues)

  • Resident lectures on a variety of psychosocial topics

  • Statistical research to explore the psycho-social status of residents and to determine the unique "culture" of your retirement community or adult family home.

The Senior Retirement Project is leading the way in meeting the psychosocial needs of seniors. We encourage you to explore how our services can help support your goals, vision, and mission of your retirement community, adult family home, or community center.
